Policy On Financial Hardship

To effectuate the policy of the CLE Board to facilitate enrollment by lawyers who wish to enroll in the NYPRR non-transitional CLE program but are unable to pay the cost of the program, we will accept for enrollment at a total cost of $25 per subscription year any attorney who advises us in writing of his inability to pay the regular subscription fee. Payment of $35 will entitle the lawyer to receive twelve (12) monthly issues of NYPRR beginning with the month of payment.

Further, we will permit installment payments of the cost, or we will design individual payment plans for lawyers who require them. In the case of lawyers who certify that they cannot pay any amount for the program, we will offer full non-tuition scholarships.

If requested by an enrollee who applies and exhibits hardship, NYPRR will waive the fee of $15 required for the grading of the monthly self-assessment test.
